Charlotte High graduate Brandon Ross has yet to play a football game for Ave Maria University.

The defensive end played at Ferris State University (Mich.) before transferring to the school, initially signing to play for Ave Maria’s former head coach. But he had to make up for credit deficiencies and attended Edison State College to get his academic record up to speed.
