Hundreds gathered Friday evening at Laishley Park in Punta Gorda for a candlelight vigil, sponsored by Charlotte Behavioral Health Care, to raise awareness about people with mental and/or substance-use disorders in need of treatment and recovery-support services. The event served as a local celebration of National Recovery Month.
