Four Charlotte High School students participated in USF’s Festival of Voices Sept. 21-22. Meagan Vanderbeck, Sarah Mylar, Sara Hart and Elias Quintos attended the annual high school honor choir event sponsored by the University of South Florida and the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay.
The Festival of Voices serves young ensemble singers in Florida’s area high schools by offering an experience in singing quality repertoire under the direction of a conductor. The event features two choirs for student participants: the Festival Mixed Chorus and Festival Women’s Chorus. Participants have the opportunity to sing and publicly perform with the flagship choral ensembles of the USF as well as members of the MCTB.
