The CareMinistry of First United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda will play host to a Health and Safety Fair from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at its campus at 507 W. Marion Ave. The free event, which is open to the community, will feature health and safety checks, live demonstrations and information. Healthy, nonperishable kid-friendly food donations for Back Pack Kids will be collected. For more information about the fair, contact Marilyn Gregory at 941-286-6075.
