The Blessing of the Animals was held on Saturday at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Charlotte by Pastors Ken and Andrea Barrios. Pastor Andrea Barrios said this was their eighth year doing the ritual and they mainly have cats and dogs although one year they did have a snake which she had to touch. Ernie Lallmann holds Max as his wife Dee has Mimi on her lap awaiting the blessing.
