CHEC celebrating 25th anniversary

Free educational wading trips are among the many activities offered by the Charlotte Harbor Envirnmental Center, which celebrates its 25th anniversary Nov. 3 at Alligator Creek Preserve in Punta Gorda, and Nov. 4 at Cedar Point in Englewood.
The Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center is celebrating its 25th anniversary of providing local environmental education with two days of celebrations at the two CHEC locations in Charlotte County.
The public is invited to come and enjoy food, music, lectures, children’s activities, guided walks and more from 10 a.m.
to 4 p.m. Nov. 3 at Alligator Creek Preserve in Punta Gorda, and Nov. 4 at Cedar Point Park in Englewood.
