ENGLEWOOD — Fueled by the success of their Thursday night blues concerts, Port Charlotte promoter Willie Miller and the proprietors of Englewoods on Dearborn Restaurant are kicking off weekly Caribbean Nights starting Friday.

The idea to expand the weekly concert series to include a second night featuring Caribbean music came from customers who attend the Thursday night Blues Under the Stars concert series, Miller said.
