SARASOTA COUNTY — The Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections office held a “mini-election” of sorts Wednesday in a public test of the county’s voting and tabulating equipment that will be used in the Nov. 6 general election.

“We’re literally testing all of the processes that will take place on election day,” Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent said.
