School district questions
teacher rating methods

ARCADIA — DeSoto School Superintendent Adrian Cline told School Board members Tuesday the state Department of Education is requiring Florida districts to report teacher evaluation ratings — on which teacher merit pay would be based — even though the scores may be wrong.

Cline said several districts are plan to refuse to report the figures because they are based on incorrect data.
