GROVE CITY AREA — Detectives of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Warrant Squad on Tuesday located and arrested a Grove City area man on a warrant stemming from an undercover buy of methamphetamine. Charged with sale and delivery of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a church, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia was Andrew Michael Nemechek, 28, of the 8300 block of Roosevelt Street. Narcotics detectives said Nemechek sold $175 worth of methamphetamine (3.1 grams) in an undercover operation July 18 at his home, which is 670 feet from the Church of God on Placida Road. Nemechek remains in the Charlotte County Jail on $56,000 bond. This is his seventh booking.
