Charlotte County Sheriff’s detectives investigated a late-afternoon robbery Thursday at the SunTrust bank on Murdock Circle in Murdock. Many details were unavailable Thursday afternoon, but according to sheriff's spokesman Bob Carpenter, the robber is: a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a moustache and wearing sunglasses, a hoodie, a black leather jacket, a bandanna and a red T-shirt with sleeves cut off. The suspect reportedly entered the bank around 3:10 p.m. The CCSO helicopter was circling the area looking for the suspect, but detectives on scene declined to share any further information.
