ENGLEWOOD — Florida Gov. Rick Scott made a brief appearance at the Charlotte County Victory Office Saturday in Englewood to praise about 200 campaign workers dedicated to electing Mitt Romney president and other Republicans to public office.
“Governor Romney is going to be our next president,” Scott said. “Tuesday night, there is going to be a big celebration because of what you’re doing. Thanks to what you have done, we have made over 10 million phone calls in this state already. There’s 2 million doors we’ve already knocked on because of what you’ve done. You win elections.”
