‘Sofa’ voters increase
in 2012

More voters this year filled out their ballots from the comfort of their sofas or kitchen tables than during the 2008 election.

Charlotte County saw a 22 percent increase in absentee ballot voting, according to the Charlotte County Supervisor of Elections Office.
