PUNTA GORDA — The First United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda served a hot Thanksgiving feast to hundreds of area residents on Thursday afternoon.

This year was the 13th time that over 100 volunteers concocted a meal that would make mama proud. Last year, church do-gooders served over 700 residents, and they prepared for even more people this year.
