For the price of a new toy, children were treated to a pancake breakfast and a visit with Santa and his head elf, Snowball, early Saturday morning at MS Rascal’s Looney Bin in Murdock. The toys donated were for the Marine Corp Toys for Tots drive, which Rascal’s owner Karen Brownell and her volunteers have been working on all year, collecting toys and donations through various fundraisers, to ensure every child in Charlotte County will have presents under the Christmas tree this year. Here, Caleb Cox, 4, had no qualms meeting Snowball even shaking his hand after receiving a candy cane. On the other hand, meeting Santa Claus was another story.
