SARASOTA COUNTY — Sarasota County commissioners approved an ordinance this week creating the Boca Royale Community Development District on nearly 482 acres
of land around the Boca Royale development on State Road 776, near Englewood.
Isaac Brownman of the county’s Planning and Development Services Department said the purpose of the CDD is to provide community infrastructure, services and facilities, together with operation and maintenance. He said the timing of the CDD is a 10-year build-out for infrastructure and about 11 to 12 years for residential-unit build-out.
