SARASOTA COUNTY — On Tuesday, during their first regular meeting of 2013, Sarasota County School Board members will receive an update on the state of the South County school bus depot planned for North Port.

The depot, which was approved by the North Port City Commission on Dec. 10, will take up 8 acres off Citizens Parkway, near Price and Toledo Blade boulevards. The land is a part of a 51-acre parcel the school district already owns.
