Nita Goodwin lives up to her advertising when she offers “A Stitch and More.” She is a Port Charlotte resident and has been in the alterations business locally for the past 30 years.
Operating out of her home, she not only offers professional alterations on clothes for men, women and children, but she also makes decorated throw pillows, custom table runners, place mats and any kind of custom-made window treatments that include valances, sheers and drapes. Plus, Goodwin has been known to make wedding dresses.
