Donating food to the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition is a community-service project for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1303 Forrest Nelson Blvd., Port Charlotte. The young women of the church, ranging in age from 12 to 18, recently helped serve an evening meal to residents living in the coalition's shelter. Mike Imbasciani is one of the best rock/blues guitarists in this area. He can do Hendrix. He can play Clapton. Stevie Ray Vaughan’s riffs are not beyond him.

“Crossroads” is on his play list. “So is “Crosscut Saw,” “Pride and Joy” and “Further on up the Road.”
