In the spring of 2012, Team Port Charlotte partnered with Keep Charlotte Beautiful, Waste Management, the Master Gardeners, a local Eagle Scout, Aaron LaPlante and CC Human Services to fund and create the Parkside Community Garden. We are currently seeking gardeners to lease plots which are “ready to go” for planting for $15 per year. The Grand Opening of the garden will be at 4 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Family Services Center on Gibralter Drive.
