I hope I will see many of you this weekend at Artsensation at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center. Artsensation is the Arts & Humanities Council’s big annual festival celebrating all the arts in our community. We’ve been planning this event for months. Each year, we try to tweak it to make it more enjoyable for our guests and our ­exhibitors.

Last week, I wrote about the various workshops we’ve added to the event. I’ve just confirmed another. If you are interested in plein air painting, Mike Vires will demonstrate procedures and techniques Saturday at 11 a.m. Vires is an award-winning artist and a fine teacher. You will learn a lot from him.
