FPL’s smart meters will bring us “time of use” electricity charges, and this is an issue that most people no nothing about. “Time of use” (TOU) charges mean we will all be paying huge increases in our electric bill for our summer air conditioning. I have not seen this issue addressed by the people who are protesting smart meters. Could it be they are not aware of this fact?
