A hard-edged
tortoise tale
Editor:
A few weeks ago, my family and friends were awakened by an entourage of interlopers. Our homes were destroyed; we were sprayed with a disinfectant, numbered, put in boxes, and trucked away to live in a foreign habitat. I shed a tear when I read in the paper that we had been living in a concentration camp-like environment, and were being relocated for humane reasons. Only when the above incident occurred did that term sound familiar.
