Shouts of teacher strikes “hurting our kids” have run rampant, but what really hurts the education of our children is the irresponsible, ill-conceived method that policies are brought down upon our public schools by state and federal politically striving bureaucrats and lawmakers. These officials create what they consider revolutionary new ideas and programs that will do away with all the problems in our schools.
