In the August Republican
primary we came down in favor of Ed Brodsky, who was facing a nasty intra-party challenge for the open position of state attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit. Brodsky is now paired against John Torraco, a Democrat, a worthy candidate with impressive credentials.

We like Torraco, but we’re sticking with Brodsky in the General Election, because of his local background, his long experience as a prosecutor in the office of six-term incumbent State Attorney Earl Moreland and the endorsements from many area law enforcement officials.
