Roberta A. “Bertie” Graves, 88, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Monday, July 23, 2012.

She was born May 20, 1923, in Carrollton, Ky., and settled in this area with her husband in 1950.

Roberta was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader. Together with her husband Charles, she enjoyed hunting and camping.

Roberta is survived by her son, Dennis (Bobbi) Graves of Cape Coral, Fla.; grandchildren, Dennis Jr., Paul, Michael, Steve and Barbie; and great-grandchildren, Khrystyne, Calvin, Brandon and Elizabeth. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles, in 2004.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 27200 Jones Loop Road, Punta Gorda.
