Cecilia Semeria, 88, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at her home in Port Charlotte.

She was born April 6, 1924, in Bogota, Colombia.

Cecilia moved to Port Charlotte 12 years ago from Highland Park, Ill. She was a member of the American/Colombian Club of Port Charlotte. Cecilia was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and was very much admired and loved by her friends. She will be forever missed by all who loved and knew her.

Cecilia is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Gustavo Semeria; son, Gus Semeria; daughter, Monica Eckrich; and three grandchildren.
