Dixie Wray, 73, of Punta Gorta, Fla., passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.

She was born in Middletown, Ohio, Sept. 18, 1938, to parents Alva Lee and Zelma Leona (nee McDonald) Baker.

Dixie worked in medical records at Peace River Regional Medical Center, formerly St. Joseph in Port Charlotte, Fla.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil Wray; daughters, Teresa (Ken) Francis, Kimberly (James) Owens; sister, Kathryn Walter; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Larry Baker.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at Quest Church, 6933 Hendrickson Rd., Middletown, with Pastor Ken Henderson and Chad Francis officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.
