Albert M. Krauszer
Albert M. “Al” Krauszer, 96, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Friday, June 29, 2012, at Tidewell Hospice of Port Charlotte, Fla.
He was born Oct. 23, 1915, in New Brunswick, N.J., to Albert and Barbara Krauszer.
Albert moved to Port Charlotte in 1978 from Webster, N.Y. He attended Rutgers University, studying in the field of Chemical Engineering, and was a retired Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Xerox Corporation. Albert was a former member of the Italian American Club, Elks Lodge 2153, and the Punta Gorda Country Club.
He is survived by his loving family, including a son, David M. (Peg) Krauszer of New Bern, N.C.; daughter, Kathleen (Warren) Jones of Wilmington, N.C.; brother-in-law, James Colt of Lansing, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Albert was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Barbara Gebhardt; brothers, Nicholas and Adam Krauszer; and his wife, Helen Krauszer, who passed away in 2008.
Memorial services and inurnment will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
