Christopher Curtis Macleod, 29, of Punt Gorda, Fla., passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012.

He was born April 5, 1983, in Port Charlotte, Fla.

Chris enjoyed spending time outdoors, mudding, fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and putting his creative ideas to reality. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Chris loved his niece, Madison, nephew, Latrell like they were his own kids, and I’m sure he was disappointed never to have met his nephew, Trenton.

He is survived by his loving family including his mother, Jenny Austin; brother, Sean and his family, Theresa, and niece, Madison; sister, Erica Austin; nephew, Latrell; father, Curtis and his wife, Karen; maternal grandmother, Betty Muscato; paternal grandparents, Sandy and Bill Kakritz.

A celebration of Chris’s life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Punta Gorda Elks Lodge, 25538 Shore Dr., Punta Gorda. Please visit www.coralridgefuneralhome to leave thoughts and memories for his family.
