Marie “Louise” Kernan, 94, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012.
She was born March 18, 1918, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to Louis and Mary Alice (nee Parkinson) Bessette.
Louise retired from the Electronic Industry and moved from Hooksett, N.H., to Punta Gorda in 2005. She was a member of the Association for the Visually Impaired of Port Charlotte, Fla. Marie loved to cook fudge for her friends and family, and she was of the Episcopal faith.
She will be greatly missed by her sons, Louis (Judith) Rouleau of Gilmanton, N.H., and Ken (J) Rouleau of Punta Gorda; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Louise’s life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, with the Rev. Wild Horse officiating.
