Clara B. Lindsey, 92, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Englewood Health Care.

She moved to Venice, Fla., from Memphis, Tenn., in 1955. Clara was the owner and operator of Porter Paint Store in Venice.

She leaves behind her son, James E. (Jean) Walden of Sarasota, Fla.; daughters, June (Bob) Wells of Port Charlotte, and Judy (Duane) Holmbeck of Englewood, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Lindsey; and son, Hal Walden.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Lindsey may be made to Loaves and Fishes International, Hidden Treasures Home, 375 N. McCall Road, Englewood, FL 34223.

Arrangements are by National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte.
