Anthony B. “Tony” Anderson, 47, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away at his residence Monday, Sept. 10, 2012.

He was born July 29, 1965, in Torrance, Calif., and came to Port Charlotte in 2006 from Minneapolis, Minn.

Tony was a Regional Manager for the 7-Eleven Convenience Stores. He served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne of Fort Bragg, N.C.

Tony is survived by his former wife, Cheryl L. Myers of Elkview, W.Va.; son, Ryan C. Anderson of Elkview; daughter, Kimberly Anderson of Elkview; sister, Tammy Loux of Texas; brother, Rick Heidorn of Texas; mother, Helen Heidorn of California; and three grandchildren.
