Anne Watts Hart

Anne Watts Hart, 66, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 in Port Charlotte, after battling a long illness.

She was born Jan. 19, 1946, in Fredericksburg, Va. and moved to Port Charlotte in the early 1980’s. Anne was a longtime resident of King George County and upon moving to Port Charlotte she was employed in the medical field. Later she became a quality assurance representative for a furniture chain. Anne was a long time member of the American Legion Post 110 in Port Charlotte.  She enjoyed the beach, fishing, cooking and her dogs. Anne was an inspiration to everyone she met, even in her last hours.

She is survived by her father, Robert G. Watts of Port Charlotte; a brother and sister in law, Robert and Kelly Watts of Port Charlotte; and a son, Charles David Peyton Jr. of Hampton, Va.; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
