Sheldon S. “Butch” Drake Jr., 73, of Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of Wooster, Ohio, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012.

Butch, aka Jackknife, was a lifelong local truck driver and an avid motorcyclist. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend. Butch will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Mary Jo Baumgartner and family; son, Jeffrey Drake; daughter-in-law, Kathy Drake; grandchildren, Michael and Dustin Drake, Kaylee and Kyle Biggs; great-granddaughter, Emma Drake; siblings, Susan (Jack) Leggett; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sheldon Sr. and Mildred and son, Sheldon James.

Services will be held at 6 p.m. Tues., Sept. 25, 2012, at First Alliance Church, 20444 Midway Blvd., Port Charlotte.

Arrangements were by Dostal Bostal Bokas Funeral Home, North Olmsted, Ohio.
