David C. Young, 65, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2012.

He was born May 23, 1947, in Baltimore, Md. to Angela (nee Timmerman) and Dabney H. Young Jr.

David moved from Aberdeen, Md. to Port Charlotte in 1975, and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose of Port Charlotte. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church of Port Charlotte. David enjoyed bowling, and shooting pool.

He will be greatly missed by his sister, Connie (Allen) James of Port Charlotte; and seven nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by parents, and brother, George Young.
