Bina Bell Allen, 84, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away peacefully on her birthday, Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, with her loving family at her side.

She was born Oct. 12, 1928, in Indianapolis, Ind., the daughter of Kenneth A. and Stella Reavia (née Deppert) Hamblin.

Bina will be deeply missed by her family, her friends and many loved ones.

She is survived by her devoted sister, Louise W. Basney of Miromar Lakes, Fla.; nephews, Win, Jan, Kit and Stephen; and niece, Rose Ann. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Fred A. Allen, in 2009; her sister, Helen Rose Orr; and her nephew, Kim.

Services will be private, and will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home, Bonita Springs, Fla.
