Thomas F. Vance
Thomas F. Vance, 69, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte.
He was born July 27, 1943, in Camden, N.Y., to Harold A. and Anne M. (nee Miller) Vance.
Mr. Vance worked as a buyer for a department store, and was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a Sergeant from 1975 until 1977. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Vance will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his son, Shawn Thomas Vance of Magnolia, Ark.; stepson, Peter Quartuccio of Virginia Beach, Va.; mother, Anne M. Vance of Lake Suzy, Fla.; brothers, Leon (Kathy) Vance of Port Charlotte, Theodore Vance of Ohio, Richard Vance of Parrish, Fla., and James (Eva Maria) Vance of Port Charlotte; sisters, Michelle Sabasuk of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Dawn Morris of Lake Suzy; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
