Judith K. “Judy” Causey, 66, of Sarasota, Fla., and formerly of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012.

She was born June 15, 1946, in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of Connie and Genevieve (nee Davidson) Settles.

Judith worked as an LPN for Tarpon Point in Sarasota. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and loved the Lord. Judy was remembered as a generous, giving person to others, and who loved to shop.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Kim; Dex, whom she considered the son she never had; granddaughters, Samantha, Jessica and Emily; and sisters, Bonnie Blevins and Concetta Perkins.
