Donald Jacob Tomer
Donald Jacob Tomer, 84 of Port Charlotte, FL passed away Thursday October 18th, 2012.
Donald was born in Elizabeth, PA; and moved with his job at United States Steel to Fairless Hills, PA. He and his wife subsequently moved to Florida once he retired. Donald proudly served his country in our U.S. Navy’s forces during World War II and has always had a love for the sea.
He leaves behind his adoring and loving wife of 63 years, Angeline; his saddened daughters Brenda Lee Graham and Lucinda Faye Workman, a grandson and granddaughter, a sister Faye and half-sister Mary Kay. His death was preceded by the passing of his brother James. There are numerous loving family members and friends who will also miss him. We cannot forget to mention Donald’s love of animals, as also remaining behind are Molly, Sheena and Kasper who will yearn for his loving touch and soothing voice.
Our hearts are heavy as we continue on in with sadness, forever missing Donald’s wonderfully warm and honest smile. Rest in peace our loved one now in God’s garden.
