Leslie Earl Morgan of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012.

He was born June 18, 1951, in Lebanon, Mo., and moved with his family to Cape Coral, Fla., in 1963.

Leslie graduated from the University of Central Florida and was a member of Mensa. He was a very spiritual and dedicated to the Christian faith. Leslie was an avid outdoorsman and a friend to animals.

He is survived by his mother, Marie B. Morgan of Punta Gorda; and siblings, Rita Grimshaw, Janet Konover, and Edwin (Patricia) Morgan. Leslie was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; and father, Earl L. Morgan.
