William L. Hoyle, 61, of Toledo, Ohio, and resident of Port Charlotte, Fla., lost his year-long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012.

He was a wonderful and loving husband, Dad and Poppie. Bill was a well-known Realtor and Auctioneer, licensed in three states. In 1987, he founded According To Hoyle Inc. Bill was an accomplished singer, songwriter, and musician under the stage name of Wilbur Strutt, band Shyster. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge.

Bill is survived by his wife, Terrie; children, Joshua Hoyle, Heather Hoyle Jones, and Dakota Hoyle, who were at his bedside when he passed.

A Celebration of Life will be at 3 p.m. with service at 6 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 24515 Rampart Blvd., Port Charlotte, Fl 33980.
