Sherwood E. Aldrich, 76, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012.
He was born July 22, 1936, in Topsham, Maine.
Sherwood spent a good part of his life in Massachusetts and Maine after graduating from Michigan State University with an Engineering Degree. He worked as a plant manager for various food companies in Pennsylvania and Arkansas retiring from Mancini Pepper Company in Zolfo Springs, Fla. Sherwood will also be kept in the heart of his special partner, Peggy Helmers of Punta Gorda.
He is survived by his daughter, Lucinda Aldrich of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; son, Sherwood Erickson “Eric” Aldrich of Hendersonville, Tenn.; granddaughters, Larisa Bell of Lehigh Acres, Samantha and Reilly Aldrich of Hendersonville.
Private memorial services will be held.
Arrangements are by National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte, Fla.
