Robert W. Neal, 91, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012.

He was born Aug. 15, 1921, in Akron, Ohio, and the son of George and Lillian (nee Becker) Neal.

Robert served in the U.S. Army and Air Force during World War II. He was the owner/operator of Bob’s Coffee Shop, formerly known as the Dairy Pleeze. Robert was a member of First United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda. He will be remembered as a wonderful family man, and loving husband and father.

Robert will be greatly missed by his sons, George Neal and Kevin Neal; and grandson, Robert Bartels. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Vivian; and daughter, Nancy Neal-Bartels.
