Patricia A. “Pat” Spivey, 71, of Port Charlotte, Fla. passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012.

She was born Sept. 17, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio.

Pat moved to Florida from Ohio in 1986. She worked as a waitress until 1995, then as a CNA, until retiring in 2010. We will always love and remember you as the best mother and grandmother.

Pat is survived and greatly missed by her beloved children, son, Randy (Tricia) Spivey of Fort Myers, Fla.; daughters, Rhonda Spivey of Punta Gorda, Fla., Tina (Ron) Shapiro of Toledo, and Mary Thieroff of Temp. Mich.; brother, Gary (Joan) Parker of Toledo; grandchildren, Randy Matthew, Morgan, Brett, Brandon, Brad, Brian and Kristie; one great-grandson, Brody; a second great-grandchild on the way; and many loving friends and cousins.

A celebration of Pat’s life was held Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home in Fort Myers. Her final resting place will be burial at sea in Fort Myers. You will always be in our hearts, mom.
