CHARLOTTE COUNTY — Beginning Monday, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office will increase traffic enforcement at the following locations:

Speed enforcement:

• Entire length of Veterans Boulevard, Port Charlotte.

• Placida Road, from State Road 776 to Rotonda Boulevard, Englewood to Rotonda.

Traffic light/stop sign enforcement:

• U.S. 41 and Harbor Boulevard, Port Charlotte.

• S.R. 776 and Beach Road, Englewood.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

• William Joseph Whidden, 41, 4400 block of Alta Vista Ave., Punta Gorda. Charges: failure to appear and driving while license is suspended. Bond: $5,000.

• Catherine Gemler Spyrie, 76, 21000 block of Baffin Ave., Port Charlotte. Charges: DUI and violating restrictions on a driver’s license. Bond: $1,250.

• Danny Joseph Arnold, 29, 22500 block of Cedarwood St., Port Charlotte. Charges: failure to appear, aggravated battery, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: none.

• Peter Bernard Grant, 50, 211500 block of Gertrude Ave., Port Charlotte. Charges: failure to appear and driving while license is suspended. Bond: $3,000.

• Kyle Anthony Jones, 22, 9100 block of Miguel Circle, Port Charlotte. Charges: possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $5,000.

• Natalie Marie Roberts, 48, 20100 block of Lorenzo Ave., Port Charlotte. Charges: two counts of possession of a controlled substance, DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $6,750.

• Ashaunti Delisle-Winston Brown, 16, 8300 block of Ada St., Port Charlotte. Charges: burglary of a conveyance and grand theft auto. He was taken to a Department of Juvenile Justice facility in Fort Myers.

• Jonathan Padilla Soto, 30, 20300 block of Peachland Blvd., Port Charlotte. Charge: off-bond recommit. Bond: $12,500.

• Jennifer Lynn Oman, 33, 2100 block of Hopwood Road, North Port. Charges: DUI with property damage, hit and run with property damage, driving without insurance and resisting an officer. Bond: $3,500.

• Jonathan Morales-Diaz, 24, of Auburndale, Fla. Charge: violation of probation. Bond: $10,000.

• Timothy Ray Phelps, 29, 2400 block of N.W. Howard Ave., Arcadia. Charge: violation of probation. Bond: $2,500.

• Joseph Allen Stickler, 29, of Alliance, Ohio. Charge: violation of probation. Bond: none.

• Aimee Siera Lantrip, 23, of St. Louis. Charges: DUI and driving while license is suspended. Bond: $1,250.

• Jon Hudzina, 23, 23500 block of Dawn Ave., Port Charlotte. Charge: DUI. Bond: $750.
