PUNTA GORDA — A man was arrested on a sexual battery charge Monday after he was accused of having oral sex with four boys over a decade ago, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Darrin Duane Hysell, 32, of the 28000 block of Inchon Ave., Tropical Gulf Acres, was charged with sexual assault on a victim under the age of 12 in connection with the incident.

According to a report, one of Hysell’s alleged victims came forward and claimed he, along with three other boys, were enticed by Hysell to perform oral sex on him in a wooded area near one of the boy’s homes between 2000 and 2001.

After completing a lengthy investigation, detectives developed probable cause to arrest Hysell. He was located at his home and taken to the Charlotte County Jail, where he remains on $4,500 bond.

Detectives have said additional charges are forthcoming, pending further investigation, the report states.

Report: Man charged with stalking
twice in 3 days

PUNTA GORDA — Authorities arrested a man twice in three days for allegedly stalking a woman known to him, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Allan Dale Lowe, 32, of the 3900 block of Woodholm Drive, Punta Gorda, was charged with aggravated stalking.

According to a report, Lowe was first arrested on Saturday for allegedly stalking the 24-year-old female victim, sitting outside of her home and following her in his vehicle.

Lowe posted a $1,000 bond and was released Sunday, the report states, but started calling and texting the victim again on Monday morning. He had placed 29 calls and text messages to her phone, and actually continued to call when deputies were questioning the victim, the report states.

Lowe was located and taken into custody on Monday. He told authorities he had been dating the victim for two years, but the victim told authorities they were only friends and Lowe did not like her new boyfriend.

Lowe was arrested and transported to the Charlotte County Jail, where he remains without bond.

Alleged crack dealer arrested

ENGLEWOOD — Authorities arrested a man on Monday night after they allegedly found 66 pieces of crack cocaine in his possession, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Shaun Patrick Monahan, 32, of the 100 block of Florence Ave., Englewood, was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with the incident.

According to a report, a deputy spotted a man running toward a truck at the intersection of Pine Street and Elinor Avenue around 11 p.m. on Monday evening. The man turned out to be Monahan, who had an orange-colored cylinder in his possession that held the crack rocks, the report said.

Monahan was arrested and transported to the Charlotte County Jail, where he remains on $10,000 bond.

• Joshua Roy Robinson, 22, Sarasota. Charge: violation of probation (original charge: possession of a controlled substance without a prescription). Bond: none.

• Laurne Nadine Demler, 26, 300 block of Border St., Port Charlotte. Charge: habitually driving with a suspended license. Bond: $2,500.

• Joseph William Eastwood, 52, 12000 block of Patterson Ave., Port Charlotte. Charges: two counts of battery and DUI. Bond: $2,750.

• Belinda Jo Newsome, 39, North Fort Myers. Charge: violation of probation (original charge: obtaining services with a worthless check). Bond: $1,350.

• William Scott Adams Jr., 24, 2800 block of 12th St., Englewood. Charges: possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of narcotic equipment and out of county warrant. Bond: $5,500.

• Amy Lou McGlocklin, 31, 2800 block of 12th St., Englewood. Charges: possession of a controlled substance, possession of narcotic equipment and resisting arrest without violence. Bond: $4,500.

• Brittany Hope Baggott, 23, 11200 block of Pendleton Ave., Englewood. Charge: violation of probation (original charges: driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain insurance). Bond: $850.

• Olivia Ann Billie, 40, Clewiston, Fla. Charge: operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. Bond: $500.

• Darnell Antione Richardson, 29, Cape Coral. Charge: violation of probation (original charge: driving with a suspended license — second offense). Bond: none.

• Michel Diaz, 33, Bradenton. Charge: violation of probation (original charge: driving with an expired license for more than four months). Bond: hold for State of Pennsylvania parole violation.

• Kristina Amber Webb, 30, Bradenton. Charge: violation of probation (original charge: operating a motor vehicle without a valid license). Bond: released on own recognizance.

• Jeremiah Harvey Lanford, 26, 700 block of Crestview Circle, Port Charlotte. Charge: DUI. Bond: $750.

• Keith Joseph Weise, 35, 18600 block of Spring Lake Drive, Arcadia. Charge: possession of a controlled substance. Bond: $2,500.
