PORT CHARLOTTE — Additional charges have been filed against a couple accused of stealing from local stores in December, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, after video surveillance footage showed them stealing an electronic tablet from Best Buy.

Jeffrey Scott Sabatinelli, 34, and Christen Joy Dial, 31, both of the 400 block of Strausburg Drive, Port Charlotte, were each charged with one count of grand theft in connection with the Best Buy theft on Nov. 29. Detectives located the stolen electronic tablet at a pawn shop in Cape Coral, according to a report.

They were previously charged with two counts each of grand theft in connection with a Dec. 28 incident in which they stole items from the Dollar General store, and a Dec. 20 incident in which they stole a plasma welder from the Tractor Supply Co., located in the 1100 block of Kings Highway, according to a report.

They were arrested Dec. 28 and remain at the Charlotte County Jail. Sabatinelli is being held on $24,000 bond, while Dial is being held without bond. The investigation is ongoing, the report states.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrest:

• Adam Sheldon Bishop, 39, 3500 block of Long Meadow Drive, Sarasota. Charge: violation of probation (original charges: DUI, driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain insurance). Bond: none.

• Aubri Lavar Jernigan, 25, 600 block of Martin Luther King Blvd., Punta Gorda. Charges: resisting arrest and Sarasota County warrant. Bond: none.

• Jermaine Leon Bell, 28, 800 block of Burland St., Punta Gorda. Charge: violation of probation (original charge: battery). Bond: none.

• Michael Leon McCord, 47, 11000 block of Palmerston Ave., Punta Gorda. Charges: DUI second offense and violation of probation. Bond: none.

• Willie Charles Williams, 48, 19300 block of Edgewater Drive, Port Charlotte. Charge: violation of probation (original charge: driving with a suspended license). Bond: $850.

• Katlyn Marie Kearney, 19, 100 block of Emmett Ave., Port Charlotte. Charge: battery. Bond: none.

• Sherise Ann Williams, 26, Palmetto, Fla. Charge: violation of probation (original charge: grand theft). Bond: none.

• Jessica Lynn Brown, 21, 2700 block of Cascabel Terrace, North Port. Charge: violation of probation (original charges: disorderly intoxication and breach of peace). Bond: $800.

• James N. Bruce, 32, Fort Myers. Charge: driving with a suspended license. Bond: $1,000.

• Matthew Adam Pierce, 26, homeless, Englewood. Charges: resisting arrest, possession of narcotic equipment and possession of a controlled substance. Bond: $4,500.

• Shayla Tysia Brown, 32, 11500 block of S.W. Lemon Ave., Arcadia. Charges: criminal mischief and battery. Bond: none.

• Christopher Michael Slorp, 26, 12200 block of Oscar Drive, Punta Gorda. Charge: violation of probation (original charge: driving with a suspended license). Bond: none.

• Corey Eugene Dunbar, 36, 2900 block of Longley Drive, Port Charlotte. Charge: driving with a suspended license (third or subsequent offense). Bond: $2,500.

• Peter Stephen Cracchiolo Jr., 44, 4300 block of Gardner Drive, Port Charlotte. Charge: contempt of court violation of domestic violence injunction. Bond: none.

• David Moats, 59, 200 block of Palmetto Drive N.E., Port Charlotte. Charge: violation of probation (original charge: DUI). Bond: none.

• Jody Lee Klear, 37, 6300 block of Shalimar Lane, Englewood. Charge: fraud and violation of probation. Bond: none.
