CHARLOTTE COUNTY — Beginning Monday, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office will increase traffic enforcement at the following locations:

Speed enforcement:

• Entire length of Bermont Road, from Punta Gorda to the Glades County line.

• Entire length of State Road 776, from Englewood to Port Charlotte.

Traffic light/stop sign enforcement:

• U.S. 41 and Cochran Boulevard, Port Charlotte.

• Kings Highway and Interstate 75/Exit 170, Port Charlotte.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

• Donald James Hogan, 29, 4000 block of Iola Ave., Punta Gorda. Charge: violation of probation. Bond: none.

• Bobbie Joe Keene, 45, Slash Pine Circle, Punta Gorda. Charges: possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $6,500.

• Davion Dominique Stuarts, 19, 700 block of Burland St., Punta Gorda. Charges: fleeing to elude police, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a new drug, providing false identification to a law officer and resisting arrest. Bond: $8,500.

• Cara Nicole Coletti, 23, 25300 block of Panache Lane, Punta Gorda. Charge: violation of probation. Bond: none.

• Jessica Lynn Jacobs, 29, 5600 block of Swaying Palm Drive, Port Charlotte. Charge: violation of probation. Bond: $750.

• Rolando Enrique Gomez, 31, 400 block of Barger Drive, Port Charlotte. Charge: habitually driving while license is suspended. Bond: $2,500.

• Johnson Lesley Joseph, 31, 20200 block of Midway Blvd., Port Charlotte. Charges: failure to appear, presenting noncurrent proof of insurance, driving while license is suspended and failure to have insurance. Bond: $12,000.

• Matthew Tyler Burrell, 22, 21400 block of Shannon Ave., Port Charlotte. Charge: defrauding an innkeeper. Bond: none.

• Melissa Sue Ruppenthal, 24, 2200 block of Aaron St., Port Charlotte. Charges: two out-of-county warrants. Bond: $600.

• Kelli Marie Bridges, 24, 24300 block of Harborview Road, Charlotte Harbor. Charge: violation of probation. Bond: $850.

• Thomas Raymond Majesky, 44, homeless in Port Charlotte. Charges: disorderly intoxication and violation of probation. Bond: none.

• Corey Steven Carr, 25, 200 block of Kensington St., Port Charlotte. Charge: violation of probation. Bond: $5,000.

• Shane Michael Hewitt, 18, 700 block of N. Spring Lake Blvd., Port Charlotte. Charge: violation of probation. He was released into home detention.
