Hoeben’s timely 40 lifts Pirates

PORT CHARLOTTE — Port Charlotte High School senior Andrew Hoeben received his first medalist honor Monday after shooting a 40 on the par-36 Port Charlotte Golf Course.
His low score couldn’t have come at a better time: Port Charlotte defeated Lemon Bay by one shot, 171-172.
